Government to put pressure on for single billing - Report

The Department of Communications is expected to put the pressure on telecoms regulator ComReg to force eircom to adhere to the June deadline set for the introduction of single billing.

A report in the Independent says that this move comes despite indications last week from the telecoms regulator that the timeframe may need to be extended.
