Dublin hosts food safety conference
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is hosting an international food safety conference in Dublin on March 11-12 to discuss the key food safety controls.
The conference comes as part of Ireland's presidency of the EU, and will bring together experts from all over EU and the accession countries.
Its aim is to discuss and explore proposals on Official Food & Feed Controls and the goal is to identify where the risk management strategies of member states and candidate countries can be harmonised in the best interest of protecting consumer health.
The conference will feature speakers from the European Commission, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), member states and candidate countries.
