Dutch national airline KLM has issued lacklustre January traffic figures despite an increase in its overall load figures.

The company which is expected to merge with Air France later in the year reported an overall load figure - the share of available seats it can fill - up 2.3% in January representing a 78.5% increase year-on-year.
