According to the latest retail sales index from the Central Statistics Office, alcohol sales in Irish pubs fell by 7.1% in the 12 months to the end of November, with the overall takings of Irish pubs down by 1%.

According to the latest retail sales index from the Central Statistics Office, alcohol sales in Irish pubs fell by 7.1% in the 12 months to the end of November, with the overall takings of Irish pubs down by 1%.

The retail sales index also shows that the volume of sales overall in the economy rose by 1.2% in the year to the end of November.
