Elan raises $70m in non-core sell offs

Pharmaceutical company Elan has sold four non-core businesses for $70m (€55m).

The sell-off includes the sale of the company's San Diego office property and a multi-year rental agreement with the new owner and the sale of manufacturing companies based in Switzerland and Italy.
