The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Mary Harney, has called for more incentives to keep scientists and science graduates in the EU.

Speaking to the EU's parliament’s Committee on Industry, External Trade and Research today, the Tánaiste said that 400,000 EU science graduates are currently working in the US, representing about 40% of the entire US science and research community.
