Aer Lingus is expected to report operating profits up 23% to €79m for 2003, says the Irish Times.
The profits, when officially announced in a few weeks' time, will be the highest in the company's recent history and may prompt the Minister for Transport, Seamus Brennan, to speed up the sale of the airline.
