Report: Dublin households have most disposable income
Disposable income per person in the Southern and Eastern region in Ireland was 3.4% above the state average while the figure for the Midland and Western regions was 9.6% below, according to CSO reports today.
Dublin was ranked as having the highest disposable income per person of the eight regional authority areas, at 116.7% of the state average for 2001.
Comparing at county level were: Kildare (105.0%), Limerick (102.5%), Galway (98.7%), Cork (97.3%%), and Wicklow (97.2%).
There were 13 counties ranked at the lower end of the scale, with incomes below 90% of the state average.
