BAA announces busiest Christmas ever

British airport operator BAA has said that passenger traffic rose 6.2% over December compared with the same period the year before, with Stansted enjoying the biggest rise among its airports.

The company operates seven airports in Britain and runs or owns stakes in airport operations in four other countries.
