In Dublin, the ISEQ index recorded strong gains for the fourth day in a row moving up 14 to 5,089 at 10.30am.

In Dublin, the ISEQ index recorded strong gains for the fourth day in a row moving up 14 to 5,089 at 10.30am.

The financials were busy. AIB added 5 cent to €13.25 with over a million shares traded. BOI was down 2 cent on volume of over 1.3m. Anglo added 5 cent to €12.80 and Irish L&P was 3 cent stronger at €13.03 after it predicted that the strong demand in mortgage growth last year would continue into the early part of 2004.
