FF calls on banks to address credit card debt

Fianna Fáil is calling on Irish banks to offer personal loans to customers so they can clear their credit card debts.

The vice-chairperson of the Dáil Public Accounts Committee, John McGuinness, says that credit card debt in this country currently stands at €1.5bn.
