Baby's first year costs over €4,000

Parents spend more than €4,000 during the first year of their child’s life, it was claimed today.

Essentials such as nappies, nursery furniture, a pushchair and feeding equipment cost an average of €4,029 during a baby’s first 12 months, according to Abbey.
