Thousands more jobs are expected to be cut at British Airways in the next two years under a new £350m-£400m (€496m-€567m) cost-cutting plan to be announced at the end of this month, and not March as expected.

The troubled airline, which employs 45,000 people, will have shed 13,000 jobs by the end of March under an earlier £1.7bn (€2.4bn) cost-cutting programme.
