British telecoms giant BT is considering extending a community programme aimed at supporting education in India, where the firm now employs workers in call centres.

A school in Delhi which teaches first-time learners and their parents has received £60,000 (€85,060) a year for the past three years from BT as part of a project originally drawn up when the company was expanding overseas.
