Low-fares airline Ryanair has lost a court challenge relating to subsidies it received to help operate its London to Strasbourg route.

The airline ceased flights on the route earlier this year, after a French court found that the local chamber of commerce in Strasbourg acted improperly by paying Ryanair €800,000 in subsidies to operate the route.
