Livestock price increases boost October price index

The seasonally adjusted agricultural output price index for October 2003 increased by 0.6% compared to a month previously, due to price increases in cows for slaughter, pigs, finished cattle and store cattle according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

The seasonally adjusted agricultural output price index for October 2003 increased by 0.6% compared to a month previously, due to price increases in cows for slaughter, pigs, finished cattle and store cattle according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

Seasonally adjusted input price index increased by 0.4%. The terms of trade index increased by 0.1%.
