'Good times are over ' for chemical sector

Chairman of BASF AG Juergen Hambrect has said that good times are over for the industry, as the sector's growth is set to lag behind global economic growth.

"In many business areas we have benefited from the fact that growth rates in the chemical market exceeded that of world GDP," Hambrecht said at an event to unveil BASF's new corporate brand.
