Elan to off load some European operations

Irish Pharmaceutical company Elan today confirmed that it is in negotiations with a third party for the disposal of some of the company's European operations, primarily consisting of its sales and marketing business.

The Dublin headquartered company were non-committal today saying in a statement that "they can not make any assurances that the transaction will be completed or the timing of such completion".
