Airtricity, the Irish wind energy firm, has formed its first joint venture the US and aims to produce 300 megawatts of power from four new sites in Utah and Idaho.

Airtricity, the Irish wind energy firm, has formed its first joint venture the US and aims to produce 300 megawatts of power from four new sites in Utah and Idaho.

The joint venture is with Ridgeline energy, a renewable energy developer. The venture, known as Ridgeline Airtricity, will see the two companies developing wind energy projects using Ridgeline's land bank.
