Ireland's external trade rises in September

Ireland's exports surplus over imports rose more than 15% in September from August,as the UK and the US increased export demand.

Preliminary figures for September from the Central Statistics Office show that exports rose 5.4% to €7.17 bn, while imports fell by 1.5% to €3.99bn.
