Irish consumer confidence improves

Confidence among Irish consumers rose for the fourth month running in November as sentiment about the general economic outlook improved.

IIB Bank and the ESRI said their consumer sentiment index rose to 78.2 last month, the highest level in 16 months, from 68.0 in October.
