US stocks fell after investor's terrorism fears were fuelled by further bombings in Turkey and also a wire report saying the White house had been evacuated.

Shortly after opening the Dow Jones was down 38.52 to 9651.94, the Nasdaq fell 11.34 to 1888.31 and the S&P 100 slid 2.19 to 1040.25.
