UK community investment increases 33% - survey

Community investment in Britain last year by FTSE-100 companies increased by almost 33% to £818.15m (€1.17bn).

Findings from the annual Guardian newspaper survey, which looks at how business engage with the wider community, showed that grants in cash rose by more than 25% to £637.3m (€912.56).
