TV broadcaster BSkyB saw its revenue jump 17% to £850m (€1,217.9m) in the first quarter of its new financial year, driven by strong new customer growth and higher margins.
Incoming chief executive James Murdoch said, "The current financial year has started well and we continue to grow both subscribers and revenues."
