Dell profits up 21% in Q3

Dell reported a rise of 21% in third quarter earnings after demand for its servers rose and it gained additional global market share.

Net income rose to $677m (€574.76m) in the three months to October from $561m (476.22m) a year earlier. Sales rose 16% to $10.6bn (€8.99bn), slightly ahead of forecasts.
