BA enjoys supersonic boost from Concorde

A last minute rush to experience supersonic travel before Concorde flew into the history books last week provided a welcome boost to its embattled owner British Airways, it is believed.

Plane enthusiasts clamouring for a last taste of the expensive aviation icon are thought to have boosted BA coffers by packing flights in recent months and snapping up souvenirs.
