The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association has called on the Government to introduce a 10% tax rate for self-employed people starting up new businesses in Ireland.

In its pre-budget submission, the employers’ group said the 10% tax rate for start-up businesses should apply throughout the first five years of the companies’ existence.
