Figs point towards US recovery

United States industrial production and unemployment aid figures point to an improvement in the country's economy, latest data has suggested.

Unemployment benefit fell to its lowest level since February this year with the closely-monitored monthly average of those seeking assistance for the first time falling to 390,750.
