Transport Minister Seamus Brennan has appointed eight directors to the board of the Shannon Airport Authority, a new body being established as part of the minister’s controversial plan to break Aer Rianta into three competing companies.

Transport Minister Seamus Brennan has appointed eight directors to the board of the Shannon Airport Authority, a new body being established as part of the minister’s controversial plan to break Aer Rianta into three competing companies.

Trade unions have been invited to nominate people to fill the other four positions reserved for worker/directors.
