British fashion label Burberry announced total revenues for the first half of 2003 rose by 17%. This comes as the as the company continues its return from a depressed 2002.

The 150-year-old company, whose trademark beige check has been a favourite with British royalty, has recently seen its popularity diversify to a broader customer base.
