Residential mortgage lending continues to grow in Ireland, monthly figures for August from the Central Bank indicate.

Figures show the annual growth rate rose to 24.2%, up from 23.9% in July. Annual growth in non-mortgage credit was relatively unchanged last month, at 9.6%.
