The economist Peter Bacon has claimed that there is not enough building space in Dublin city centre to meet the predicted demand for homes over the coming 10 years.

The economist Peter Bacon has claimed that there is not enough building space in Dublin city centre to meet the predicted demand for homes over the coming 10 years.

In a report on the supply and demand of apartments in the city centre, Mr Bacon said a total of 19,000 housing units could be built before 2012.
