Oxfam Ireland has called for talks on farming subsidies to resume as early as possible following the collapse of World Trade Organisation negotiations in Mexico last night.

The talks collapsed after developing nations walked out in protest at an EU demand for foreign investment to be included in the mandate of the WTO.
