Tesco to reveal half-year figures

Supermarket group Tesco said it was firing on all cylinders when it issued its first quarter trading update in June. That update pointed to like-for-like sales growth of 5.8%.

Analysts are expecting Tesco to say it has kept up the momentum when it unveils its half year figures on Tuesday.
