Euro bounces back after four-month low

In New York, the euro rallied up 0.3% versus the US dollar to $1.0884, after dropping to a 4-month low of around US$1.0789 earlier in the session.

A positive close would halt an eight-session losing streak, in which the euro lost approximately 4.1%.
