Govt to establish network of organic demonstration farms

The Department of Agriculture has announced plans to establish a network of organic demonstration farms in an effort to encourage more farmers to adopt organic methods.

Farms included in the network will be paid €3,000 each provided they allow four farm walks or visits on their holdings next year.
