Ryanair battles to keep London-Strasbourg route
Ryanair has lodged a legal appeal to keep its twice-daily flights between Strasbourg and London airborne.
A French court had ruled the airline must stop flying the route by the end of September after financial aid granted to it by the city's Chamber of Commerce was deemed illegal.
More than 20,000 passengers a month have flown between Stansted and the Alsace capital since the service was launched last October.
