Ireland's largest trade union, SIPTU, has criticised employers who they claim are not meeting minimum legal obligations on pay and holiday leave.

SIPTU's Branch Secretary, Gerry McCormack has said that an astonishing number of students have contacted the union recently, complaining about employers’ refusal to pay minimum wages or give holiday entitlements.
