The European Central Bank has indicated that interest rate reductions could end on the back of positive predictions for economic recovery in the second half of 2003.

The European Central Bank has indicated that interest rate reductions could end on the back of positive predictions for economic recovery in the second half of 2003.

While stating that present interest rates were appropriate, the ECB said there was an increasing feeling that economic activity would recover in the last six months of the year.
