US Airways reported second-quarter net income of $13m (€11.3m), or 25 cents a share, versus a loss of $248m (€215.5m), or $3.64 a share in the same period a year ago.
Excluding unusual items, such as a $214m (€186m) in government reimbursements under the Emergency Wartime Supplemental Appropriations Act, the loss for the quarter was $154m (€134m).
