The electricity supply firm Energia has said that industrial electricity users seeking to maintain competitiveness are concerned at the proposed 68% increase in the Public Service Obligation (PSO) Levy on their bill, to take effect in January.

The electricity supply firm Energia has said that industrial electricity users seeking to maintain competitiveness are concerned at the proposed 68% increase in the Public Service Obligation (PSO) Levy on their bill, to take effect in January.

The PSO levy is a charge added to all electricity bills to offset the costs connected with buying the output of ESB's peat fired electricity generation.
