Used car sales rise in Ireland

The deceleration of the Celtic Tiger economic boom times has prompted a sharp rise in used car sales in the country.

The development marks a reversal of a trend which, during the boom years, saw the new vehicle market speeding relentlessly over the horizon at the expense of the older trade.
