Cross-border mobile phone charges 'deterring business'

Cross-border mobile phone charges are a deterrent to all-island business, according to Communications Minister Dermot Ahern and the British government's Enterprise Minister in the North, Ian Pearson.

Although there was some evidence of falling costs, they said, charges along the border were still too high.
