The Minister for Transport denies there is any threat to the jobs of Aer Rianta workers posed by the planned break-up of the company.

Seamus Brennan, who was in Limerick announcing the extension of the free transport scheme, said Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports will remain under State ownership, and, if anything, more rather than less staff will be required.
