Nokia and Ericsson report little signs of growth

Nokia and Ericsson reported results yesterday. Neither company expects much growth within the next couple of quarters.

In the handset market there appears to be some increase in sales but little sign that customers are upgrading to the more expensive models. The network equipment market is still in the doldrums, with operators cutting or postponing purchases.
