Yahoo disappoints despite Q2 increase

Internet media company Yahoo! has reported a doubling of net income to $50.8m (€73.3m), compared to a year ago.

The firm said that revenues increased by 42% in Q2, helped by stronger online advertising sales although this was not as much as forecasted.
