Adobe drops Mac support in new software
Adobe has dropped support for Mac in its new desktop multimedia software.
The latest version of Adobe’s Premiere digital video-editing tool (premier Pro) and its new audio-editing application called “Audition” is to run only on Windows XP-based PCs.
These products are components of the Adobe Video Collection, which also includes Photoshop 7.0 digital-imaging application.
It appears that Adobe has made the decision not to release Apple versions for cost reasons and because Apple is now creating its own software.
