Euro zone growth predictions 'a bit high'

The European Commission has said its projection of euro zone growth of 1% in 2004 may be "a bit on the high side".

Klaus Regling, Director General of the commission's economic and financial affairs did not elaborate but said there would be a "small deviation" from April's forecast.
