Seasonally adjusted trade figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) for March 2003 show a decrease in exports of 7%, and imports 4% to give a trade surplus of just over €2.5bn.

Seasonally adjusted trade figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) for March 2003 show a decrease in exports of 7%, and imports 4% to give a trade surplus of just over €2.5bn.

Initial indications for April this year show exports increase by €614m, and imports by €139m, resulting in a trade surplus of almost €3bn.
