UK software company Latens Systems has announced that it is to invest £2.5m (€3.6m) in setting up a new facility in Belfast. It is thought that around 100 jobs will be created at the operation within the next four years.

UK software company Latens Systems has announced that it is to invest £2.5m (€3.6m) in setting up a new facility in Belfast. It is thought that around 100 jobs will be created at the operation within the next four years.

The company will develop software for use in accessing new digital television services. With the growth in use of broadband technology services which such as pay for view video (PPV) and video on demand (VoD) are becoming of greater importance.
